Broncos QB Bo Nix delivered 222 yards and 1 score on a 51.7% completion rate in Sunday’s win over Arizona. Nix also did his best Lamar Jackson impression with a 62-yard rushing score in the second quarter.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact
Let’s start with the passing.
Nix’s low completion rate wasn’t impacted by a single drop. In fact, per Fantasy Points, his 51.7% catchable throw rate ranked last among Week 7 QBs.
Nix at least made a point to work more downfield. His 10.7-yard average depth of target marked a season-high, although he completed only 4 of his 12 downfield throws for 108 yards. A 47-yarder to WR Marvin Mims Jr. was the result of broken coverage and a missed tackle.
Even Nix’s passing TD was all on RB RJ Harvey, as he took a 52-yard screen pass to the end zone.
Nix’s 62-yard rushing score was almost unbelievable. He broke the pocket on a scramble and faced no resistance until he reached the goal line. Prior to Sunday, he totaled 37 rushing yards on the season.
We’ll need to keep an eye on the health of Jaylen Waddle after he left late in the game with a chest injury. The team is already without Pat Bryant, who’s eligible to return from IR in Week 9.
Nix will remain a risky QB1 for Sunday’s matchup with a Kansas City unit that entered the week 11th in adjusted fantasy points allowed. After that comes a more favorable draw vs. Carolina before a Week 10 bye.
