Konata Mumpfield Headshot

The Rams went without WR Davante Adams on Sunday for the first time this season. In his place, WRs Konata Mumpfield and Tutu Atwell saw near-equal time. Puka Nacua led the group at 61 snaps and 31 routes, 96.9% of QB Matthew Stafford's total dropbacks. Mumpfield led Atwell 31-25 in snaps, but the two ran a matching 20 routes (62.5%). Atwell went without a target among Stafford's 29 attempts, though, while Mumpfield drew only 2. He caught one for 15 yards.

2026 Fantasy Football Impact

The Rams leaned run in an easy victory over the Raiders, sent 10 targets to Nacua -- despite a calf injury he picked up during the practice week -- and tossed another 14 combined targets at their three tight ends.

This offense has ranked at or near the top of the league in alignments of 2+ TEs over the past two years, so expect more of that while L.A. plays without Adams (probably until at least Week 13).

Mumpfield has flashed some intriguing ability at times, most notably with a 4-93-1 receiving line in the Week 3 loss at Denver. But he has just 5 other total catches this season.

Atwell enjoyed productive stretches for the Rams in 2023 and 2024 but then faded from relevance last season, signed a one-year deal with Miami as a free agent, and got traded back to L.A. before the start of the season. He has seen just 4 targets through seven games.

Neither receiver appears likely to make a fantasy impact even while Adams is out. We'll see if the playing time and or opportunities shift.
