Luther Burden III Headshot

Luther Burden matched TE Colston Loveland for the team lead in targets, hauling in seven of nine for 56 yards and a TD. He finished with 18.6 PPR points against a Seahawks defense that had allowed more than 18 PPR points to just two WRs prior. Burden ranks as a WR1 for a consecutive week.

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Slow Start Is History

Burden has overcome a slow start, finishing as a WR2 or better in four of the past six weeks and climbing to WR17 at 14.5 PPR points per game.

He entered the week with a 21.0% target share that was the 35th-highest mark among WRs, but he turned that into the 16th-highest receiving yards per game mark with 70.1. Which can typically signal an uptick in target volume ahead.

He was out-gained by fellow WR Rome Odunze who finished with 87 yards on 4 receptions, but Burden’s first quarter TD helped fuel finishing as the Bears highest scoring WR for the fourth-strait week.

He’s shown the ability to produce even against the highest-ranked defenses, which will come again in the form of a Buccaneers defense that is reducing WR points by the fourth-most.
