The Packers have agreed to a 5-year deal with LB De'Vondre Campbell worth $50 million, according to Bill Huber of SI.com. Campbell landed in Green Bay last offseason, after Arizona released him, and spent all of 2021 as a full-timer. He should remain a solid-to-strong IDP option for 2022 fantasy football -- though there's a chance he goes over-drafted.

Packers LB De'Vondre Campbell is inactive for today's game against the Lions. It's not surprising after Campbell carried a questionable tag into a game that's meaningless or Green Bay. Expect Krys Barnes and Oren Burks to work as the top 2 non-edge LBs against Detroit.

The Packers have activated LB De'Vondre Campbell off the COVID list. He'll be ready to play Sunday night against the Bears.

Packers LB De'Vondre Campbell landed on the COVID list Tuesday after testing positive, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Fortunately for Campbell, Green Bay gets a Week 13 bye. We'll see whether the virus challenges his availability for Week 14.

The Packers have agreed to terms with LB Jaylon Smith. The veteran got released by Dallas earlier this week. We'll see how quickly he can get into the Green Bay lineup and how big a role the team has in mind. We'd bet on De'Vondre Campbell maintaining the top ILB job, but Smith's signing says the Packers like him more than Krys Barnes and Oren Burks.

Cardinals LB De'Vondre Campbell (ankle) and LB Isaiah Simmons (neck, back) are active for today's game against the Giants. Both guys entered the day questionable. Campbell didn't practice this week, so he certainly doesn't pop as a safe play for IDP lineups. Simmons has remained behind Campbell in playing time, so Campbell's presence makes him a weak IDP bet as well.

Cardinals LB De'Vondre Campbell (ankle) and LB Isaiah Simmons (neck, back) are questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants. Campbell missed practice all week and should not be in IDP lineups. Simmons sustained his injury during the practice week, missing Thursday and then putting in a limited Friday workout. he'll be a risky IDP option even if Campbell is inactive.

Cardinals LB De'Vondre Campbell is active for tonight's game against the Seahawks. You can use him in IDP lineups, but know that he put in just 1 limited practice since sustaining the calf injury on Sunday. There's risk to playing him.

Cardinals LB De'Vondre Campbell (calf) is questionable for Thursday night's game against the Seahawks. He left Sunday's win over the Bills early, and then missed the 1st 2 days of practice before putting in a limited Wednesday workout. Campbell looks risky on the short turnaround, and there's a chance Arizona spells him with rookie Isaiah Simmons. Try to avoid Campbell in IDP lineups if you can. The Cardinals have also ruled DT Jordan Phillips (hamstring) out for the game.

The Cardinals have agreed to a 1-year, $8.5 million deal with LB De'Vondre Campbell, according to Drew Rosenhaus' agency. That likely installs Campbell as the ILB starter next to Jordan Hicks, a spot that saw Haason Reddick and Joe Walker take turns last season. Campbell finished 12th among fantasy LBs in 2019 (depending on your scoring format). Don't bet on a repeat of that. But Reddick did open 2019 performing as a top-20 fantasy LB, which displays the upside to Campbell's likely new role. Expect him to land in mid-to-high LB3 territory in our 2020 IDP rankings. Reddick, meanwhile, looks like a safe drop in most dynasty leagues. He has yet to sustain a starting role through 3 years, and the Cardinals have moved on from the coaching staff that was around when Arizona drafted him in Round 1.

The Falcons on Tuesday placed MLB Deion Jones on IR with a foot injury. The specific injury is not yet clear, but HC Dan Quinn said Jones will "require a procedure." Quinn added that they "do expect to get him back at some point this season." Short-term IR, though, means Jones will miss at least 8 games. That makes him not worth keeping in just about any redraft IDP league. Atlanta signed former Eagles LB Corey Nelson this week for depth, but he obviously doesn't come close to Jones' skill set. We'll see about the Falcons' specific replacement plan. LB De'Vondre Campbell and S Damontae Kazee gain tackle upside in Jones' absence. Kazee is taking over for Keanu Neal, who suffered an ACL tear in the loss to Philadelphia.

Falcons LB De'Vondre Campbell (ankle) put in a full practice Friday after limited workouts the previous 2 days. He has been out since suffering his injury in practice heading into Week 2 but could be busy in coverage against TE Jimmy Graham -- among other things -- Sunday in Seattle. Atlanta also expects to have LB Deion Jones (ankle) available after he missed last week's game. Jones put in limited practices all week. The team website reports that both will be a "full go" against the Seahawks.

Falcons LB Sean Weatherspoon ruptured his right Achilles' tendon in Sunday's win over the Panthers, ESPN.com reports. Weatherspoon had been playing some of his best football and delivering strong tackle numbers for IDP owners after stepping in for injured rookie De'Vondre Campbell in Week 2. This injury will end his season, though, and comes just 2 seasons after Weatherspoon ruptured his left Achilles' tendon. The 28-year-old is playing on a 1-year contract, so we'll see where his career goes after this. He's safe to drop in all IDP formats, however -- including dynasty. Campbell should now find a clear path back to his starting job with his injured ankle is ready for action.

The Falcons have ruled rookie LB De'Vondre Campbell out for Sunday's game at Oakland because of an ankle injury he suffered in practice Thursday. That will leave Sean Weatherspoon starting in place of the guy who led all Falcons LBs in snaps played last week. Weatherspoon carries some low-end IDP appeal. Campbell's absence also might help Raiders TE Clive Walford a bit. Atlanta views Campbell as key to their TE coverage.

Falcons HC Dan Quinn confirmed Monday that he'll start rookie LBs Deion Jones and De'Vondre Campbell in Week 1, according to Knox Bardeen of 92.9 The Game in Atlanta. Jones has passed Paul Worrilow at ILB, while Campbell has overtaken Sean Weatherspoon on the weak side. Quinn said Worrilow and Weatherspoon will still get snaps, which could cut into the upside of the rookies. We'll see exactly what the roles look like as we get into the regular season. But Jones and Campbell are the far more exciting athletes, so it's nice to see them get the starting gigs from the beginning.
