Seahawks RB Eddie Lacy (groin) isn't listed on the final Week 11 injury report after putting in full practices on Friday and Saturday. He'll play against the Falcons on Monday night. Lacy is averaging just 2.7 yards per carry this season and shouldn't be in fantasy lineups. His return also makes RB Thomas Rawls an even shakier play.

Seahawks RB Eddie Lacy (groin) returned to practice on Thursday. HC Pete Carroll, always the optimist, expects Lacy to play against the Falcons on Monday night. He'd likely be in a time-share with RB Thomas Rawls behind a crappy offensive line. It's a situation to avoid in Week 11 fantasy lineups.

Seahawks RB Eddie Lacy (groin) is out for Thursday night's game against the Cardinals. He didn't practice all week and has no timetable for return. RB Thomas Rawls will operate as Seattle's lead early-down back and is a volume-based RB2 option. RB C.J. Prosise (ankle) is off the Week 10 injury report but can't be trusted in fantasy lineups yet.

Seahawks RB Eddie Lacy injured his groin in the 1st half of Sunday's game against the Redskins and is doubtful to return. As HC Pete Carroll promised, Lacy was operating as the clear lead back before exiting, carrying 6 times for 20 yards and catching a pass for 14 more. RB Thomas Rawls will take over the rest of the way.

Seahawks HC Pete Carroll said Wednesday that RB Eddie Lacy will lead the team's rushing efforts against Washington Sunday. "Going to see a lot of Eddie this week," he said, according to the Seattle Times. Chris Carson still leads the team in carries for the season with 49, despite hitting IR after the 4th game. “I don’t feel like we have been in a rhythm,” Carroll said. “I think I’ve held them back a little bit by spreading it around quite a bit and trying to figure that out. So as we zero in the second half [of the season], hopefully we are going to make some headway.” Of course, no one besides Carson has given the team reason to believe rhythmic production was coming. We'll see what Lacy can do this week. Volume at least makes him a fantasy option for Week 9.

Seahawks RB Eddie Lacy is expected to start today's game against the Rams, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. That doesn't necessarily mean Lacy will finish with more carries than RB Thomas Rawls, but it does make him the slightly better Week 5 fantasy bet.

Seahawks RB Eddie Lacy is a healthy scratch for today's game against the 49ers. Evidently 4th on the depth chart, he's cuttable in shallower fantasy leagues. Seattle will roll with Chris Carson, Thomas Rawls and C.J. Prosise today.

Seahawks RB Thomas Rawls (ankle) put in a full week of practice and isn't listed on the final injury report. He'll make his 2017 debut against the 49ers on Sunday. Rawls' return further crowds a backfield that also includes Chris Carson, C.J. Prosise and Eddie Lacy. Avoid the situation in Week 2 fantasy lineups if possible.

Seahawks RB Thomas Rawls (ankle) is inactive for today’s game against the Packers. It sounds like Seattle is holding him out to get him back to 100%. We’re expecting a Week 2 debut for Rawls. His absence leaves the Seahawks’ backfield to Eddie Lacy, C.J. Prosise and Chris Carson.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport hears that Seahawks RB Thomas Rawls (ankle) "may be held out" of today's opener against the Packers. He practiced all week, but it sounds like Seattle might play it safe here and make sure Rawls gets back to 100%. He shouldn't be in Week 1 fantasy lineups. RB Eddie Lacy will be easier to trust if Rawls is inactive.

Seahawks RB Thomas Rawls (ankle) was listed as a full participant in Wednesday's practice. HC Pete Carroll said earlier in the day that Rawls is recovering from a high-ankle sprain, but he's clearly on track to play against the Packers this weekend. With Rawls and C.J. Prosise available and joining Eddie Lacy and Chris Carson, the Seahawks backfield is best avoided in Week 1 fantasy lineups.

Seahawks HC Pete Carroll suggested Monday that RB Thomas Rawls' Week 1 availability is in question, according to the team's official website. Rawls missed the final 3 preseason games with an ankle injury that Carroll deemed "minor" at the time. It now seems more significant. We'll track Rawls' status throughout the week, but he shouldn't be in your Week 1 fantasy plans. His absence would make RB Eddie Lacy a bit easier to trust in lineups.

Seahawks HC Pete Carroll described his backfield as "pretty wide open" on Wednesday. “You start with those two guys [Thomas Rawls and Eddie Lacy], but then C.J. [Prosise] brings some stuff and Chris [Carson] is really exciting to see too and then [J.D.] McKissic’s lit us up the last couple days with all the versatility he brought and with the question of where he playing and all, so I’m fine with it.” Carroll said. “I am really comfortable and I have no problem with it. Also, I’m comfortable with a guy taking over. If a guy takes over and it’s obvious, I got no problem with that either." There's potential for any of these guys to "take over." Rawls, Lacy, Prosise and Carson are all worth drafting at the right price (i.e. cheaply). But none of them will be a reliable Week 1 fantasy play.

Seahawks RB Chris Carson led the 1st-team backfield in Friday night's preseason game against the Chiefs. The rookie ripped off 46 yards on 8 carries and caught 2 balls for 44 more. RB Eddie Lacy, meanwhile, toted it 4 times for 21 yards and didn't catch any passes. Carson out-snapped Lacy 14 to 9 in the 1st half, according to Pro Football Focus' Nathan Jahnke. RBs Thomas Rawls (ankle) and C.J Prosise (groin) both missed this one, but Carson's performance and usage is notable nonetheless. He's been Seattle's most impressive RB this preseason and deserves a Week 1 role. This backfield is as muddy as ever. None of these guys will be reliable Week 1 fantasy plays.

Seahawks RB C.J. Prosise missed practice Monday and Tuesday because of a strained groin he suffered before the Saturday preseason game, according to The News-Tribune. HC Pete Carroll said a weekend MRI came back negative, but Prosise has reportedly tested the area only with some running on the side the past 2 days. When asked Tuesday if he's getting concerned about Prosise's dependability, run-game coordinator Tom Cable said, "I think we all are." Carroll had previously called out Prosise's lack of durability early this offseason. If his return from this latest issue lingers, then it could impact coaches' willingness to increase his touches. Prosise looks like the biggest talent in the Seattle backfield, but he'll need to get and stay healthy to capitalize on it. His 10th-round ADP, at least, gives him little risk as a fantasy football draft pick.

The Seahawks lost starting LT George Fant to an ACL tear in Friday night's preseason game. Fant hasn't proved to be a special talent, but it's a bad loss for a team that has already struggled on the O-line. It harms the fantasy outlook for all Seattle RBs. We're not changing the projections for QB Russell Wilson, but losing Fant could make life more challenging for him all year.

Seahawks 7th-round rookie RB Chris Carson played with the 1st-team offense in Friday night's preseason game against the Vikings. He was on the field for 9 of 22 snaps with QB Russell Wilson. RB Eddie Lacy played 13. It's certainly worth noting that neither Thomas Rawls nor C.J. Prosise played in this one. But it still feels like Carson is pushing for a regular-season role. He's reportedly been impressive in training camp and turned his 7 touches into 44 yards vs. Minnesota. We're not ready to recommend Carson as a redraft pick just yet, but he's made this Seahawks backfield even more crowded.

Seahawks RB Thomas Rawls will miss the 2nd preseason game with what HC Pete Carroll labeled a "minor ankle issue." Remember that Rawls fractured his ankle back in 2015 -- although it's unclear if this is related, or even the same ankle. We'll keep an eye on him. Rawls' absence will give RB Eddie Lacy a shot to run with the starters against the Vikings on Friday.
