Dolphins CB Xavien Howard (groin) and EDGE Emmanuel Ogbah (back) are active for today's game against the Lions.

Dolphins lead CB Xavien Howard (groin) and EDGE Emmanuel Ogbah (back) are questionable for Sunday's game in Detroit. Howard played through his injury for 100% of defensive snaps last Sunday night. Ogbah missed that game but finished the practice week with a full workout. We'll check both players' statuses Sunday morning.

Dolphins EDGE Emmanuel Ogbah (back) is inactive for tonight's game against the Steelers. CB Xavien Howard (groin) and DL Christian Wilkins (hand) are active.

Chiefs DE Emmanuel Ogbah will have season-ending surgery for a torn pectoral muscle he suffered in Sunday's loss to the Titans, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Ogbah is headed for unrestricted free agency in the spring.

Chiefs DE Emmanuel Ogbah left Sunday's game at Tennessee early with a chest injury and did not return. Ogbah had been seeing more playing time lately with DE Alex Okafor out (ankle). We'll see about the status of both edge players leading up to Monday night's game against the Chargers.

Browns DE Emmanuel Ogbah (ankle) and LB Christian Kirksey (shoulder, ankle) each returned to a limited practice Wednesday. Neither starter has played since getting hurt back in Week 1, and neither put in a single practice last week. We'll keep an eye on their statuses heading into the weekend to see if either player is ready for a full return to game action. Both will return to the weekly IDP radar whenever they are ready. S Damarious Randall, meanwhile, missed Wednesday's practice with a heel injury.

Browns LB Christian Kirksey is expected to miss his 2nd straight game. He's doubtful for Thursday night's matchup with the Jets because of shoulder and ankle injuries. James Burgess started in Kirksey's place in Week 2 and played 62% of the snaps, which isn't a trustworthy level for IDP usage. Jamie Collins, however, stayed on the field for every snap in Kirksey's absence after playing just 61% of the snaps in Week 1. He's usable in moderately deep IDP leagues with Kirksey out. Cleveland will also miss DE Emmanuel Ogbah again. He's out for the 2nd straight game with an ankle injury.

Browns DE Emmanuel Ogbah missed practice Wednesday with an ankle injury. Ogbah was in a walking boot Monday, following the tie vs. Pittsburgh, and HC Hue Jackson indicated he might be out a while. On Wednesday, however, Jackson told Cleveland.com, "not going to rule him out" for Sunday's game at New Orleans. We'll see how Ogbah progresses. Don't plan to have him in IDP lineups this week, though.

Browns DE Emmanuel Ogbah broke his right foot in Sunday's loss to the Jaguars and will miss the rest of the season, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Ogbah entered Sunday tied for the team lead with 4 sacks and tied for 2nd among Browns with 5 total QB hits. DE Carl Nassib figures to absorb some snaps and perhaps take over Ogbah's vacated spot.

The Browns kept the 1st pick in Round 2 of the NFL Draft and chose OLB Emmanuel Ogbah from Oklahoma State. Ogbah racked up 22.5 sacks over the past 2 years and 29.5 total tackles for loss. He should start right away for a Cleveland D that finished 28th in the league in sacks last year. Ogbah's a decent IDP target for dynasty rookie drafts.
