Kylin Hill Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

The Packers released WR Amari Rodgers. The 2021 3rd-rounder mustered just 8 catches over 1-and-a-half seasons in Green Bay. The move could be a sign that WR Randall Cobb (ankle) is ready to come off IR. The Packers also released RB Kylin Hill.

Update: Rodgers has been claimed by the Texans.

RB AJ Dillon led the Packers in carries at Detroit on Sunday, with Aaron Jones leaving early for an ankle injury. Dillon ran for just 34 yards on his 11 attempts, though, adding 10 yards on 2 catches among 4 targets. Jones left after rushing 9 times for 25 yards and 2-20 receiving. Kylin Hill claimed the only other RB rush in the game. We'll see about Jones' status for next Sunday's matchup with Dallas.

Green Bay continued to hold RB Aaron Jones -- among other starters -- out of preseason action Saturday against the Jets. That left the starting spot to AJ Dillon, who handled the team's 1st carries. But rookie RB Kylin Hill got into the mix on the 1st drive and closed things out with a nice 12-yard TD run. According to Matt Schneidman, Hill has "all but locked up the No. 3 running back job" with his rushing and receiving work, as well as primary kick-return duties.
