Ravens LB Patrick Queen (thigh) is active for today's game against the Steelers. Play him as planned in your IDP lineups.

Ravens LB Patrick Queen (thigh) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Steelers. He closed the week with a full Friday practice, which would seem to put him on track to play. We'll confirm Queen's status Sunday morning.

Ravens LB Patrick Queen said Wednesday that he's "pretty sure" he'll play Sunday against the Steelers, according to Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun. Queen left last Sunday's win over the Broncos with a thigh injury. He put in a limited practice Wednesday. We'll see about his status the rest of the week.

Ravens LB Patrick Queen left Sunday's win over the Broncos early with a thigh injury. We'll see about his status for Week 14 and beyond.

Update: HC John Harbaugh said Monday that it's merely a bruise, according to ESPN's Jamison Hensley. We'll watch his status this week.

The Ravens are acquiring LB Roquan Smith from the Bears for 2nd- and 5th-round NFL Draft picks. Smith is in the final year of his rookie contract, so we'd bet on an extension with Baltimore following. His arrival likely means the end of full playing time for Ravens LB Patrick Queen. They'll likely start together, but the move for Smith signals dissatisfaction with the middle of the defense. Queen has become a full-timer this season after seeing 80% and then 76% the previous 2 seasons. Smith's departure from Chicago leaves tackle upside for LB Nicholas Morrow, who was already playing full-time snaps. Joe Thomas stands 3rd among Bears LBs in playing time currently and might be the top candidate to absorb vacated snaps.

Update: The Ravens are also sending LB A.J. Klein to the Bears, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. He'll likely get at least a shot at stepping into Smith's vacated role.

Ravens CB Anthony Averett (shoulder, ankle), LB Patrick Queen (ribs), CB Marlon Humphrey (illness) and EDGE Odafe Oweh (shoulder) are questionable for Sunday's game against the Steelers. Humphrey missed the past 2 days of practice with his illness. Oweh popped up on the injury report with a missed Thursday but returned to limited action Friday. Queen finished the week with 2 full practices and appears on track to play. Averett was limited Thursday and Friday after missing Wednesday's practice. We'll update the status for all when inactives come out Sunday.

Ravens LB Patrick Queen (thigh) is active for today's game against the Bengals. He spent the week limited in practice after seeing limited playing time last week, a game he left but returned to after suffering the thigh injury. Queen makes for a risky IDP play this week.

Ravens LB Patrick Queen is questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals. He's dealing with a thigh injury that knocked him out early in last week's game, but he returned after some time on the sideline. Queen also put in limited practices all week. We'll see about his status Sunday morning.

The Ravens have activated all the players who landed on the COVID list earlier this week for close contact with CB Marlon Humphrey. That means ILB Patrick Queen, OLB Matt Judon and S DeShon Elliott -- among others -- will be available for Sunday's game against the Colts. Humphrey remains out, of course, as the only one who tested positive.

This will be an interesting week for the Ravens defense. CB Marlon Humphrey landed on the COVID list at the beginning of the week after testing positive. His list of close contacts includes OLB Matt Judon, ILB Patrick Queen, S DeShon Elliott and ILB L.J. Fort -- as well as reserve ILB Malik Harrison. They all must isolate for at least 5 days. Whoever passes COVID testing at the end of that phase will still be available to play Sunday against the Colts. We'll certainly be watching for the sake of IDP lineups, as well as the Baltimore team defense's outlook.

The Ravens selected LSU LB Patrick Queen with the 28th pick of the NFL Draft. Queen started just 16 games over his 3 seasons with the Tigers and didn't even open 2019 as a starter. He looked impressive after stepping in for suspended LB Michael Divinity, though, and then delivered a 90th-percentile speed score for the position. Queen goes to a Baltimore defense in desperate need of ILBs and should start right away. That makes up for the lack of college production in projecting him to the NFL. He'll land high in our rookie-draft IDP rankings and figures to be a redraft factor in 2020.
