The 49ers left S Talanoa Hufanga off the final Week 3 injury report for the first time this season. That should mean the first action for Hufanga since he suffered an ACL tear in Week 11 last season. I wouldn't bet on the safety getting a full workload, and there's likely more risk than reward to playing Hufanga in IDP lineups. But we'll see how quickly he can ramp back up to full duty. Expect Hufanga to reclaim the position that George Odum and Malik Mustapha have covered the first two weeks.

HC Kyle Shanahan said Hufanga passed his concussion test during Sunday's loss to the Falcons, and then another after the game, according to 49ers Webzone. But he then had concussion symptoms Monday morning, and a 3rd test placed him in the protocol. Plan on not having Hufanga available for IDP lineups this week. We'll keep an eye on his status.
