T.Y. Hilton Injury Updates

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton has been placed on the Active/Non-Football Injury list with a hamstring issue. NFL Network's Tom Pelissero calls it a "mild" injury that Hilton suffered getting ready for camp. Still, it's not ideal for a 30-year-old wideout who's missed 8 games over the past 2 seasons We'll keep a close eye on the situation.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (calf) is active for tonight's game against the Saints. He's been dealing with this calf injury since October and only got in 2 limited practices this week. He's a risky fantasy play tonight.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (calf) is listed as questionable and will be a game-time decision for Monday night's tilt with the Saints, HC Frank Reich said. Hilton didn't practice on Saturday after limited workouts the prior 2 days, but he told the media that it was a scheduled day off and not a setback. The late kickoff makes Hilton a tough guy to count on in Week 15 fantasy lineups. Even if he ends up playing, he'll be a shaky fantasy start at risk of being limited and/or aggravating the calf injury.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton suffered a setback in practice with his calf injury, and the team has ruled him out for Sunday's game against the Titans. We'll see about his outlook beyond Week 13. Losing Hilton hurts the outlook for QB Jacoby Brissett, who already wasn't a strong fantasy option for the week.

Stephen Holder of The Athletic supplied some ominous info early Friday afternoon on WR T.Y. Hilton's calf injury. Holder said Hilton was in a walking boot Thursday and that the Colts wideout "is very much in jeopardy of missing Sunday's game at Pittsburgh." Unless Indy rules him out today, we'll likely need to track Hilton's status right up until Sunday's inactives come out. Stay tuned. And if you've been planning to start QB Jacoby Brissett this weekend, consider your other options.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (calf) and TE Eric Ebron (ankle) missed practice on Thursday. Hilton was limited on Wednesday, while Ebron wasn't on the injury report at all. It's worth noting that DE Justin Houston and S Malik Hooker were also added to the injury report on Thursday, so it's possible the Colts are just getting some guys mid-week rest. Check back tomorrow for another update.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, "there is optimism" that Colts WR T.Y. Hilton will be able to return from his quad injury tonight against the Chiefs. Hilton is questionable after putting in limited workouts Thursday and Friday. The Sunday night kickoff for that game means most fantasy owners will have to make the call on whether to play Hilton before knowing if he'll be active. If you do want to wait for Hilton, potential fill-ins who might be available on the waiver wire include Deon Cain, Zach Pascal, Rashard Higgins (questionable, knee) and several 49ers.

The Colts ended up listing WR T.Y. Hilton (quad) as doubtful on the final Week 4 injury report. So it looks like he'll be held out of Sunday's game against the Raiders. That leaves Deon Cain, Parris Campbell, Zach Pascal and Chester Rogers as Indy's top 4 WRs. Cain led the group in snaps last week and is the best fantasy bet. But you should avoid this situation outside of DFS tournaments.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quad) didn't practice on Wednesday. We're not expecting him to practice much, if at all, this week after aggravating that quad injury in Sunday's win over the Falcons. Hilton could still play against the Raiders this weekend, but fantasy owners should have a backup plan lined up.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quad) was non-committal when asked about his Week 4 status on Tuesday. "If I can play, I'll play," he said. Hilton was limited in practice all last week with the quad injury and then aggravated it in the win over the Falcons. We'll track his practice participation over the next few days.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Falcons with a quad injury. This is presumably an aggravation of the issue that limited him in practice all week and had him listed as questionable. Hilton at least racked up 8 catches for 65 yards and a score before exiting. We'll look for an update on his status.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (ankle) isn't listed on the final injury report for Saturday's game against the Chiefs. He had been listed as questionable the past few weeks, so it's possible he's in better shape now -- although Hilton still didn't practice at all this week. Regardless, he's a nice fantasy play in the Divisional Round after tallying 85+ yards in 4 of his last 5 games. WR Ryan Grant (toe) is out again, leaving Dontrelle Inman, Chester Rogers and Zach Pascal as Indy's WRs behind Hilton.

Colts WRs T.Y. Hilton (ankle) and Dontrelle Inman (shoulder, finger) are active for today's game against the Texans. Hilton has been playing effectively through this ankle injury for the past month and remains a high-upside fantasy play vs. a Houston defense he routinely torches. Inman and Chester Rogers will serve as the Colts' #2 and #3 WRs today.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (ankle) is listed as questionable for Saturday's Wild Card game against the Texans. He didn't practice all week and still isn't close to 100%. (HC Frank Reich said Friday that Hilton would have likely missed a week or 2 late in the season if the games weren't so important.) But he's been playing through this ankle injury -- and effectively. He'll be out there on Saturday.

The Colts "hope" WR T.Y. Hilton (ankle) will play against the Giants today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Hilton played through the ankle injury last weekend and put in a limited practice this Friday -- which is 1 more practice than he got in last week. We're fully expecting him to play and will find out for sure around 11:30 am ET.

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Cowboys after missing practice all week. Hilton has been playing through injuries for the past few weeks. But this ankle injury is new, and he had been getting in at least a limited practice or 2. We’ll find out Hilton’s official status by noon ET on Sunday. If active, he’ll be a risk/reward WR2.
