        Hilton ready for Week 10

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (concussion) is not listed on the final injury report after putting in full practices on Thursday and Friday. Hilton will play in a plus matchup vs. the Jaguars this weekend but remains a risky fantasy option. He’s played in 2 games this season and left both with injuries.

        Hilton a full-go Thursday

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (concussion) put in a full practice on Thursday. He's on track to return for this weekend's game vs. Jacksonville. Hilton has played in just 2 games so far this season -- and he exited both early with injuries. He'd be tough to trust in Week 10 fantasy lineups.

        'Optimism' for Hilton's chances

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that the Colts have "optimism" that WR T.Y. Hilton will play today against the Titans. He's officially questionable with the quad injury that kept him out last week, but HC Frank Reich said "I thought he looked good" at practice this week.

        Hilton sidelined Wednesday

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quad) did not practice on Wednesday. He reportedly avoided a significant injury but looks iffy for Sunday night's game vs. the 49ers.

        Hilton "doing fine" Monday

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton is "doing fine" on Monday after hurting his quad in Sunday's win over the Texans, HC Frank Reich said. It looks like Hilton avoided a significant injury in his 2021 debut, but we'll see if he's able to play vs. the 49ers this weekend.

        Hilton out with quad injury

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton suffered a quad injury in the 2nd half of Sunday's game vs. the Texans and did not return. “I don’t think it’s bad,” HC Frank Reich said afterward. Hilton caught all 4 of his targets for 80 yards before exiting. We'll look for an update on the quad.

        Hilton has ‘disc issue’

We now know a little more about the injury that is sidelining Colts WR T.Y. Hilton. HC Frank Reich confirms that it’s a “disc issue” in Hilton’s neck, Zack Keefer of The Athletic reports. "He will miss some games — we're optimistic it's not season-ending,” Reich says. That indicates a long absence remains in the range of possible outcomes. We’re avoiding Hilton in nearly all fantasy football drafts at this point.

        Hilton expected to miss 'weeks'

Stephen Holder of The Athletic reports that WR T.Y. Hilton is expected to miss "multiple weeks" with an injury he initially suffered in practice last Wednesday. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that he's being evaluated for an "upper back/neck injury." We'll see about the specific diagnosis and return timeline. Hilton already didn't sit high in the rankings, so he's not worth much attention in typical fantasy football drafts. Hilton's absence will help the target outlooks for WRs Michael Pittman, Parris Campbell and Zach Pascal.

Wentz to have surgery, out 5-12 weeks

Colts QB Carson Wentz will undergo foot surgery and is expected to be out 5-12 weeks, HC Frank Reich announced Monday. Wentz's injury reportedly dates back to high school, but a broken bone recently came loose and is causing pain. The surgery will remove that piece of bone. The timeline is wide-ranging and would have Wentz back anywhere between early September and late October. That means Wentz has an outside chance to be ready for Week 1 -- or could be out for about half the season. We'll be on the lookout for updates on his surgery and rehab. But at this point, Wentz isn't worth drafting in lineup-setting leagues and should be considered just a QB3 in best ball. His situation also adds risk to Indianapolis' skill-position players, namely RB Jonathan Taylor and WRs Michael Pittman, T.Y. Hilton and Parris Campbell.

Update: Reich added that he expects to have a better idea of Wentz's return date in about 2-3 weeks.
