The league on Monday reinstated Patriots S Jabrill Peppers from the commissioner's exempt list. He missed the past seven games after early October assault charges. Peppers' next court date in the case is scheduled for January, and the NFL is reportedly continuing its own investigation.
That all could mean further league discipline for Peppers once the case is resolved. For now, he's likely to reclaim a starting spot.
The safety role next to Kyle Dugger has been unsettled while Peppers has been out. Last week saw Jaylinn Hawkins ranking second among Pats safeties with 53% playing time.
It's tough to know whether Peppers will be ready for full playing time his first game back. I'd bet on something less that his early-season snap share against the Colts in Week 13.
