Colts LB E.J. Speed will miss Sunday's game against the Titans with a knee injury.

Rookie Jaylon Carlies got the first shot when Speed missed time earlier this season. He's still working back from an IR stint, though, and not yet certain for the game.

LB Grant Stuard popped up for a whopping 19 tackles in the Week 7 game that Carlies left early with injury.

Stuard would be in play if the Colts don't activate Carlies ahead of the game. If they do, however, the playing-time plan might remain unclear.

We'll watch for signals as Sunday approaches.
