We can't possibly expect anything close to the 1st meeting between these teams ... right?

The Atlanta Falcons racked up 37 points to win that Week 8 OT clash, 9 more points than they've scored in any other game. The Carolina Panthers supplied 34 in falling just short, 10 more than in their next-best outing. That effort came all the way back in Week 1.

Panthers-Falcons II promises rain. So a pair of offenses that already want to lean run might feel even more motivated to do so.

Atlanta just got Cordarrelle Patterson back on Sunday and already worked him in for a team-high 13 carries -- among 30 total RB rushes in a narrow loss to the Chargers.

Carolina might get Chuba Hubbard back tonight. (He's questionable.) It definitely gets Walker back after he got yanked in the middle of Week 9 for poor performance.

How exciting is tonight's matchup? The top 2 guys on the value chart are the kickers. Each guy did get 3 FG tries in the 1st meeting, at least.

It seems a little nuts that Patterson is the most expensive player on this slate, but he has scored TDs in 4 of his 5 appearances this season and averaged a TD per game. It's tough to argue his upside.

I'm not nearly as big a Kyle Pitts fan (for fantasy purposes) as plenty of other folks. But $500 less in salary than Terrace Marshall? C'mon, man. Especially in the same week that found QB Marcus Mariota blaming himself for the TE's lack of production, this seems like a good place to bet on a rebound game. Remember, Pitts did have easily his best fantasy outing of the season in the 1st meeting. And even though he reverted last week, Pitts still drew 7 targets.
