Week 17 FanDuel Cash-Game Picks

QBs
Teddy Bridgewater, Dolphins ($6,100) at Patriots
Here’s your Gardner Minshew of the week.
Bridgewater is simply priced as a backup, but he’s on track to start with Tua Tagovailoa in the concussion protocol. With Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle healthy, it’s no surprise that the veteran passer shows up #1 in our $/point ranks.
The Pats aren’t a perfect matchup, especially with offensive question marks on the other side limiting shootout potential. Still, the discount on Teddy B is tough to pass up.
Also consider: Jared Goff ($7,400)
RBs
James Conner, Cardinals ($8,000) at Falcons
Conner enters with 7 TDs over his past 6 outings, a stretch that includes 22.8 opportunities per game.
Week 17 turns up the likely return of Colt McCoy, who missed last week’s game with a concussion. The matchup with Atlanta looks promising, too. The Falcons are allowing nearly 5.2 YPC over the past 5 weeks.
UPDATE: McCoy (concussion) was ruled out on Friday. His absence adds considerable risk to Conner.
Miles Sanders, Eagles ($6,800) vs. Saints
Sanders popped up on the injury report with a knee injury. But several outlets have confirmed that he’ll be fine for Sunday — including Sanders himself.
“[It’s] Nothing really major,” Sanders told the media on Thursday. “Just being cautious. Back out there getting some reps today. Nothing to worry about.”
Wednesday actually marked Sanders’ first missed practice of the year. Philly is playing to lock up the #1 seed, so his workload shouldn’t be scaled back if health isn’t an issue. New Orleans is a fine matchup, too, as they sit 21st in fantasy points allowed; 16th in PFF rush D grade.
Also consider: Christian McCaffrey ($9,500), Brian Robinson ($6,900), Tyler Allgeier ($6,700)
WRs
Amon-Ra St. Brown, Lions ($8,200) vs. Bears
St. Brown tallied 10-119 against Chicago back in Week 10. He’s hit 68 yards in each game since then.
Now playing indoors against a Bears secondary still struggling — they’re bottom-10 in fantasy points allowed to WRs over the past 5 weeks — ARSB is a strong play.
Jaylen Waddle, Dolphins ($7,700) at Patriots
New England enters this one with questions in the secondary. CBs Jack Jones, Marcus Jones and Jalen Mills each missed practice Wednesday and Thursday.
Consider it a bonus, as Waddle is already priced at a discount. Sure, Tua Tagovailoa is out, but we’re not forecasting a significant downgrade with Teddy Bridgewater in the lineup. In Bridgewater’s most extensive action of the season — Week 6 — Waddle posted 6-129 on 10 targets.
Drake London, Falcons ($6,700) vs. Cardinals
Here are London’s last 3 outings:
6-95 (12 targets)
7-70 (11 targets)
7-96 (9 targets)
The latter 2 lines came alongside rookie QB Desmond Ridder, who’ll start again on Sunday. In total, Ridder’s fed London a 33.8% target share. Massive.
As for Arizona — they remain without top CB Byron Murphy, who recently landed on IR. Early reports have fellow CBs Marco Wilson (neck) and Antonio Hamilton (hip) missing practice on Friday, too.
Playing indoors, London’s setup couldn’t get much better.
Also consider: DeVonta Smith ($7,800), Jerry Jeudy ($7,000), JuJu Smith-Schuster ($6,800), Brandon Aiyuk ($6,600)
TEs
Evan Engram, Jaguars ($5,800) at Texans
Engram ranks #1 in fantasy scoring among TEs over the past 5 weeks. He’s averaging 8.2 targets over that stretch on a 22.5% target share.
Houston’s defense has stiffened late in the year. But the price — and recent production — make it easier to overlook any issues there.
Also consider: Dallas Goedert ($6,000), David Njoku ($5,600)
DST
Chiefs ($4,300) vs. Broncos
Lions ($3,600) vs. Bears
