Week 4 FanDuel Cash-Game Picks

By Kevin English | Updated on Tue, 23 May 2023 . 1:27 PM EDT

Quarterback

Josh Allen, Bills ($8,600) at Las Vegas

Allen’s run-pass dynamic makes him almost bust-proof. He’s already scored twice on the ground, aided by 4 carries inside the 10 yard-line. He’s been surprisingly efficient as a passer with a 71.1% completion rate and 9.1 YPA.

Now facing a Raiders secondary without starting CB Damon Arnette, Allen should continue to roll.

Also consider: Dak Prescott, Ryan Fitzpatrick

Running back

Alvin Kamara, Saints ($8,800) at Detroit

It doesn’t matter to me whether or not Michael Thomas suits up. Kamara’s pass volume should remain strong following impressive games of 9 and 13 catches. He’s also seeing the majority of goal line rushing opportunities, ahead of Latavius Murray (8 to 4).

Pro Football Focus also grades the Lions 21st in run D and 24th in tackling, so the matchup looks just fine.

Darrell Henderson, Rams ($6,400) vs. N.Y. Giants

Henderson might not seem like the typical cash game play. But he saw a whopping 20 carries last week against Buffalo -- and that was in a first half blowout.

He turned that work into 114 yards, looking dynamic and agile in the process. That was exactly how he looked coming out of Memphis. Now facing a poor Giants defense as big home favorites, Henderson is in a good spot to deliver yet again.

Also consider: Ezekiel Elliott, Joe Mixon, David Johnson

Wide receiver

Stefon Diggs, Bills ($7,000) at Las Vegas

It sounds like John Brown will play through a calf injury. Still, Diggs’ recent performance — and a matchup with a Raiders squad down CB Damon Arnette — demands attention.

The former Viking has seen 9+ targets in 2 of 3 games, leading to lines of 8-153-1 and 8-86. Displaying chemistry with red hot Josh Allen, Diggs again looks like a high-floor option.

D.J. Moore, Panthers ($6,800) vs. Arizona

Moore has garnered 49.4% of Carolina’s air yards — the 2nd highest share league-wide behind Julian Edelman. He’s yet to find the end zone, but it’s comforting to know he’s seen 13 and 9 raw targets in 2 of 3 games so far.

Also comforting: a matchup with a Cardinals secondary that includes one of Pro Football Focus’ lowest graded CBs, Dre Kirkpatrick.

D.K. Metcalf, Seahawks ($6,900) at Miami

Metcalf delivered in this space last week. His price increased just $400 for another juicy matchup with Miami, who’s expected to remain without top CB Byron Jones. In Seattle’s skinny target tree, Metcalf should continue to smash.

Also consider: Tyler Lockett, DeVante Parker, Tyler Boyd, Brandin Cooks (if Will Fuller sits)

Tight end

T.J. Hockenson, Lions ($5,400) vs. New Orleans

Hockenson posted a season-high 90% route rate last week and saw 7 targets. Now he gets a Saints defense that's been getting torched by TEs. They coughed up a 4-36-1 line to O.J. Howard, a 12-105-1 to Darren Waller and a 5-50-1 to Robert Tonyan.

In one of the week’s highest over unders (54) with a fairly tight spread (Saints -4.5), this game environment looks rich for Detroit pass game production.

Also consider: Mike Gesicki

Defense

L.A. Rams ($4,800) vs. Giants

Buffalo ($4,400) at Raiders
