NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reported that the Baltimore Ravens have agreed to a three-year, $39.3 million extension with Mark Andrews. The deal includes $26 million fully guaranteed and keeps Andrews in Baltimore through 2028.
Andrews and Lamar Jackson entered the league together in 2018 and have long been a productive duo.
But in 2025, Andrews is posting his worst numbers since his rookie year, which raises questions about the timing of the extension.
He is averaging a career-low 9.0 yards per catch and is on pace for just 470 receiving yards.
Jackson’s three-game absence explains part of the dip, but the trend lines point to a decline for the 30-year-old TE.
Andrews has set career lows in yards after the catch per reception (2.4), yards per route run (1.30), and average depth of target (7.7).
It’s a curious move for GM Eric DeCosta, especially with Isiah Likely set to hit free agency after the season. The extension all but confirms that Likely will reach the open market.
