Raiders rookie WR Jack Bech played a season-high 82% of the snaps in Sunday's loss to the Broncos. He also drew a team-high six targets, catching all of them for 50 yards. That set season highs for Bech in each of those categories. TE Brock Bowers followed with a 4-46 receiving line on five targets. WR Tyler Lockett posted a 3-41 on four targets. WR Tre Tucker caught two of five targets for 24 yards.
What They're Saying
HC Pete Carroll, ahead of Sunday's game, on Bech earning more playing time: "He's in the rotation much more so, yeah. He's done a nice job lately. When the guys are new, you can see their talent, but they got to get all of their assignments and all the little things and all the details and stuff. And for the young guys, that's why you play them sparingly as you're bringing them up and you raise them."
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Bech started the game, but it's worth noting that none of his official targets came in the first half, when Geno Smith spread a mere 12 pass attempts among five players.
Bech did get one second-quarter look, drawing a 7-yard pass-interference penalty on CB Pat Surtain II to wipe out the incomplete pass.
The rookie's next opportunity came with just less than 3 minutes remaining in the third quarter. His final four targets came in the fourth quarter, after Kenny Pickett replaced Smith.
The playing time should continue for Bech, a second-round pick the Raiders should be motivated to develop. We'll see about the QB situation after Smith injured his right shoulder.
The whole Vegas offense, though, gets a challenging matchup at Philly next week and then a worse spot at Houston.
Don't plan on Bech being a part of your fantasy plans unless you play in an especially deep league.
