Browns HC Kevin Stefanski says QB Shedeur Sanders will start for the rest of the season.
What They're Saying
Stefanski (via NFL Network's Mike Garafolo): "He has constantly and consistently gotten better."
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
I think we all probably assumed that after Sanders' biggest statistical outing to date fell just short of a comeback victory over the Titans. But it's nice to get confirmation.
Of course, that top-5-level fantasy production followed QB18 and QB25 fantasy finishes in Sanders' first two starts. He accounted for two total TDs across those games and tallied 209 and 149 passing yards, against the modest defenses of the Raiders and 49ers. Even Sunday's big outing still included just 55% completions.
So you still shouldn't be looking to Sanders outside of 2-QB formats. But we've at least seen some upside now for those cases. And the next two opponents -- Chicago and Buffalo -- rank just 25th and 20th in defensive DVOA, respectively.
Dynasty Impact
Sanders has clearly passed draft classmate Dillon Gabriel in fantasy value across formats. But it's a little early to deem him a starter beyond this season.
This week might be a good time to see if you can sell high on the Sanders buzz, ahead of an offseason that could find Cleveland trying to replace any number of pieces (including the coaching staff).
