Texans RB Woody Marks posted 68 yards on a season-high 26 carries in Sunday’s win over the Chiefs. He added a 9-yard TD catch.

Marks has already taken over Houston’s backfield, handling a 63% carry share over five weeks prior to Week 14. But that number ticked up to 87% against Kansas City, boosted by Nick Chubb’s first half rib injury.
Of course, the efficiency wasn't great. Marks posted -0.7 rush yards over expected per attempt, per NFL Next Gen Stats. His expected yards per carry (3.3) fell well shy of his actual YPC (2.6). Marks' long run went for only 8 yards.
The 24-year-old scored when he slipped out of the backfield unmarked. He probably would have added a rushing TD to his line, but the rookie left to get checked out after taking a big hit in the fourth quarter. On the next play, veteran third-stringer Dare Ogunbowale scored on a five-yard run up the gut.
We'll see about Chubb's status going forward, but Marks is firmly entrenched as at least a mid-level RB2 for Sunday's favorable matchup with Arizona. The Cardinals just allowed the Rams' RBs to combine for a mind-boggling 47.9 PPR points.
After that comes another favorable draw vs. Vegas.
