Cardinals TE Trey McBride posted a week-winning line in a Week 15 loss at Houston. On a 32.5% target share, the 26-year-old racked up 12 catches, 134 yards, and 2 TDs.
What They're Saying
Here's how a couple of Cardinals responded to McBride's huge game (via Arizona's official site).
"I'm proud of him," HC Jonathan Gannon said. "He kept his composure. [The Texans] obviously had a plan for him. He still makes plays."
"There isn't much more to say about him. You turn the film on … his will to win jumps out," QB Jacoby Brissett said. "They are doing everything in their power to take him out of the game, and he [still] goes off."
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
McBride is now the first TE in league history with consecutive 100-catch seasons. He's recorded back to back seasons of 1,000 receiving yards, too.
His first TD came on a simple crosser in the end zone. Later, he caught an in-breaker near the 11-yard-line and used his power and build-up speed to cross the goal line.
With Brissett still providing a steadying presence, McBride should close out the season as a league-winner. Next up is a Falcons unit that has limited TE production in 2025. Just note that they've faced a light TE schedule that includes Tampa Bay (twice), Minnesota, Buffalo (without Dalton Kincaid), Miami, Carolina (twice), New Orleans, New York (Jets), and Seattle.
Other Winners & Losers
WR Michael Wilson overcame a slow first half to catch 5 of 11 targets for 54 yards and 1 score. The Cardinals remained without WR Marvin Harrison Jr., who should be considered questionable to play this week vs. Atlanta with a heel injury.
If Harrison remains out, Wilson will regain must-play status.
