Miami has chosen Jeff Hafley to be the next head coach, according to multiple reports. Hafley spent the past two years as Green Bay's defensive coordinator after four as Boston College HC. His previous NFL experience included:
What They're Saying
NFL Network's Tom Pelissero: "Hafley, 46, impressed as the Packers' defensive coordinator the past two seasons ... Now he reunites with GM Jon-Eric Sullivan."
(Sullivan worked in Green Bay's front office from 2016-2025.)
More from Pelissero: "Hafley blew away Dolphins brass in his initial interview and came in for a second today."

We'll see.
The Dolphins still have some big potential changes ahead before rolling out the 2026 offense. Chief among them: Deciding the future at QB.
Tua Tagovailoa, of course, got yanked for the final three games of the season in favor of Quinn Ewers. Neither looks like anyone's long-term answer. But does the coaching change mean one more shot for Tagovailoa, at least as a bridge QB?
WR Tyreek Hill also appears likely to go, ahead of his age-32 season. That wouldn't deliver a huge blow to the 2025 offense, given that he's been out since Week 4. But Miami never found a second receiving threat to appropriately complement Jaylen Waddle and De'Von Achane.
Hafley at least looks like a highly sough after lead guy. We'll see who he brings to fill out his Miami staff.
