The Bills grabbed Clemson Edge T.J. Parker in Round 2 of the NFL Draft. Parker spent most of the past three years drawing starter-level duty for the Tigers. He delivered 12.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks as a true freshman and improved on those numbers in 2024. But Parker -- along with basically everyone at Clemson -- regressed last season.
What They're Saying
NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah: “Parker is an intriguing edge rusher with the versatility to slide inside. … He is a rugged pass rusher … He can jolt blockers with his hands before separating and closing the distance with the quarterback. He doesn’t have an elite burst when rushing outside, but his quickness plays better when he rushes inside.”
2026 Fantasy Football Impact
Parker would have looked better as an early IDP candidate if he got into Round 1. Sliding to Round 2 obviously doesn’t make him a worse player or prospect, but it hurts his chances of seeing immediate starter duty.
Landing in Buffalo further damages those chances. The Bills return Greg Rousseau on one edge and signed Bradley Chubb to a sizable free-agent contract.
That likely means a part-time role for Parker early and limited redraft upside.
Dynasty Impact
When Parker does find starter time, his college production and athletic testing point to plenty of upside.
Parker delivered an 80th-percentile speed score at the Scouting Combine, running a 4.68-second 40 time at 6’4 and 263 pounds. Parker also leads this edge class in career tackles for loss per game.
Landing in Round 2 could help his value in dynasty rookie drafts by pushing him down the board. He brings just as good an analytical profile as almost any other edge in the class, and his lower draft capital will almost certainly push him later in your draft.
Give Parker a hard look whenever the position makes sense for your format, especially if you get points for tackles for loss and/or hidden pressure stats (such as QB hits).
