Emeka Egbuka Headshot

Buccaneers WR Emeka Egbuka took an end around at training camp and got rolled up on by a teammate. He limped off the field under his own power and was examined on the training table. The injury severity is currently unknown, but he remained walking on the sideline with both cleats off. He will not return to practice today.

What They're Saying: No Return Yet

Mike Garafalo, NFL Network: “Buccaneers WR Emeka Egbuka limped off with athletic trainers. Was examined on the sideline table for a while. Hard to see exactly what’s up from where we are but he’s still on the table and hasn’t returned. Egbuka, with both cleats off, just walked back to the sideline to watch the rest of practice.”

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: No Cart, No Panic Yet

Because this happened today, details remain limited. But there's no reason to panic yet, especially since Egbuka limped off under his own power and the cart never came out.

The fact that Egbuka stayed on the sidelines talking to teammates is a positive sign that the injury doesn’t look serious..

Egbuka remains an important piece of the Buccaneers passing game heading into his second season.

Egbuka sits WR20 in our PPR WR Rankings after looking like a fantasy star over the first five games of his rookie season. Mike Evans' departure also creates a path to No. 1 WR volume, which makes Egbuka an intriguing WR2 if this injury is minor.

We will update if there is an indication that this injury could hold Egbuka out of play.
