Fox Sports' Ralph Vacchiano came away from the Commanders' joint practice with the Dolphins believing that WR Stefon Diggs will play a big role this season. "His skills and reliability seem as good as ever," Vacchiano wrote. "It also looks like he could be a high-volume receiver for the Commanders. Yes, they still have Terry McLaurin, too. But Diggs could be a [Jayden] Daniels favorite, running a lot of underneath routes that he could potentially turn into big plays."

They were perfectly in sync, and Daniels knew just how to hit him in stride. Diggs showed off his hands, making several catches in traffic. He also showed he has the ability to still get open. And he showed his athleticism and awareness on one leaping touchdown catch where he barely got his toes down in the end zone."

2026 Fantasy Football Impact
Diggs has only been with the Commanders for a little more than a week, so it's promising that he's already showing chemistry with Daniels.
Diggs remained very effective on a per-route basis last year, ranking 15th in targets per route and seventh in yards per route among 76 qualifying WRs.
He's a lock to be a top-two WR in Washington. And, as Vacchiano suggested, it's possible that Diggs even out-targets Terry McLaurin this season.
Diggs sits a conservative 44th in our updated PPR WR rankings. He could certainly finish much higher than that.
Diggs' ADP has trended up since signing with the Commanders, but he's still a value at his 11th-round price tag.
