Dylan Sampson Headshot

Per The Athletic’s Zac Jackson, Browns RB Dylan Sampson was “heavily involved in the pass game in the just-completed week of camp.” Jackson still calls Quinshon Judkins the “clear lead back,” as expected, but adds that Sampson “seems set for a pass-game role.”

2026 Fantasy Football Impact

Recall that the Browns selected Sampson in Round 4 of the 2025 draft, 90 picks after Judkins came off the board.

Sampson wasn't a prolific college receiver, snagging 40 passes across three seasons. But he showed well in that area last year, despite a dysfunctional Browns offense. Sampson averaged 8.2 yards per catch, 9.8 yards after catch per reception, and posted a strong 1.86 yards per route run.

The 22-year-old (in September) is worth considering as a late-round stash as your RB4 or RB5, especially with Judkins coming off a fractured fibula and a dislocated ankle.
