The Athletic's James Boyd projects Seth McGowan as the Colts' No. 2 RB and for RB D.J. Giddens to be cut. Those two were battling for the backup RB job, but Giddens has missed most of camp with a hamstring injury. That positions McGowan as the handcuff to RB Jonathan Taylor.

Taylor will continue to play a workhorse role for the Colts this season, so there's no standalone value to the No. 2 RB.
But there's certainly handcuff appeal here considering Taylor has made it through a full season in just two of six tries.
McGowan looks like the favorite for handcuff duties right now, making him worth a look at the very end of deep fantasy drafts. Just don't target him too aggressively yet, because the Colts could still add to the backfield before Week 1.
