The Bears have signed a three-year extension with RB D'Andre Swift. The pact will reportedly pay $33.75 million, with $27.5 million guaranteed. That puts Swift under contract through 2029. And the high percentage of guaranteed money either makes it more likely he plays out the full span or means Swift will make even more over the next two years than the annual average indicates.

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Swift's the Man; Monangai's Stuck
This contract all but locks Swift in as the lead back for the next several years. It's a particularly noteworthy move, because Swift will turn 28 in January. The final season of the new extension will be his age-30 campaign.
We'll see how he and this contract age. But the impact for this year is that we can count on Swift to continue leading the backfield.
That only solidifies the mid-to-high RB2 outlook we already had for him.
Kyle Monangai, meanwhile, faces a lower ceiling as long as Swift's healthy. And the three years remaining on his rookie deal run through 2028.
Expect Monangai to remain stuck in a role similar to what Tyler Allgeier played for the Bijan Robinson Falcons.
