Rookie WR KC Concepcion led the Browns with 6 catches in Sunday's win over the Buccaneers, his second straight game as the reception leader to open the season. But Concepcion manaed just 28 yards for a 4.7-yard receiving average. That put him third on the team in receiving yards, trailing WR Denzel Boston (95) and TE Harold Fannin Jr. (54). Concepcion also led RB Quinshon Judkins by just 1 receiving yard (on one more reception).
2026 Fantasy Football Impact
Concepcion might have already advanced his role some.
He trailed Jerry Jeudy for third among Browns receivers in Week 1 routes but passed him for a 26-24 lead in Week 2.
Combine that with the rookie leading the team in receptions twice in his first two NFL games, and it's clear they're trying to get Concepcion the ball.
That's obviously good for his fantasy outlook, but Concepcion would benefit from the team pushing at least some of his targets further downfield.
All six of his looks against the Bucs came in the short range, and Concepcion added one rush for minus-6 yards. Pro Football Focus credited him with a 1.8-yard average depth of target Sunday, well down from his 7.0-yard Week 1 aDOT.
The whole package continues to make Concepcion more of a long-term fantasy prospect than immediate help, though he deserves a roster spot in most PPR leagues.
