It wasn’t quite the same level of production this week for Ashton Jeanty, who’s coming off a 32.7 PPR point Week 1 performance that landed him an RB4 ranking to open the season. The second-year RB handled 23 carries for 102 yards and added 4 catches on seven targets for an extra 15 yards, leading to an RB22 ranking pending Monday Night Football with 10.3 PPR points

Usage certainly wasn’t an issue for the Raiders RB, who accounted for 72.4% of the team’s rush attempts in a win over the Chargers. It’s actually an increase from Jeanty’s rushing usage last weekend, when he was responsible for a 62.2% carry share that was the seventh-highest among all RBs in Week 1.
Jeanty also saw increased target volume as a receiver out of the backfield, outdoing his impressive 20.0% target share that was the fifth-highest among all RBs last week, to achieve a 24.1% share this week.
The second-year RB joined Bijan Robinson as the only RBs in Week 1 to achieve at least 15 PPR receiving points. But that level of efficiency and production was missing in the team’s most recent game.
Sunday marked just the first time that Jeanty produced less than 14 PPR points despite handling 18 carries, a rush attempt quantity he handled six times in his rookie season.
His usage remains among the highest at his position, and his production should follow in a Week 3 matchup against the Saints.
