Raiders TE Brock Bowers excelled in his season debut against the Saints after missing the first two weeks following a meniscus trim. He returned after carrying a questionable status into the week, but he was no decoy. Browser caught 10 of 12 targets for 116 yards and a TD as one of the top fantasy TEs of the week.

Bowers played 55 snaps and ran a route on 94.7% of his routes. That is the highest route rate for a TE in a game so far this season.
Bowers did all of this with fellow TE Michael Mayer also playing a vital role. Mayer played 61 snaps and caught all 3 of his targets for 32 yards and a TD. Mayer was the primary TE in 11 personnel (1 RB and 1 TE), playing nine of those snaps to Bowers' four.
Overall, it was a great start to Bowers’ season, and fantasy managers were rewarded for staying patient through his early season injury.
Bowers is an every-week starter going forward regardless of match-up. Mayer remains a high-end TE handcuff.
