Nix completed 17 of 34 pass attempts for 186 yards and 2 TDs with an INT in the Broncos’ primetime win. He also added 7 yards and a TD on the ground on four attempts. The Broncos QB was held under 200 passing yards for the second time this season, but three total TDs powered him to his first QB1 finish of the season.

Nix finished with 3 TDs in the win over the Rams in a game that the Broncos were scoreless at halftime in.
The third-year QB accounted for nearly all of his production in the second half. Both of his passing TDs came in the third quarter before he capped his three-TD day with a game-winning rushing score with just 48 seconds left.
It still wasn’t an efficient passing game for Nix, who finished with just 5.3 adjusted yards per attempt after coming into the week ranked 27th among all QBs with 6.3.
But that’s been a common theme throughout his career, as he has yet to post a season with at least 6.8 adjusted yards per attempt.
While the high-ranking production finally came in Week 3, his lack of efficiency still clouds his season-long ranking.
