Zack Baun Headshot

The Eagles listed LB Zack Baun as a non-participant for Wednesday's practice because of a concussion. Philly's designations were estimated because the team did only a walkthrough in the wake of Monday night's loss at Chicago. The shortened week, however, also leaves less time for Baun to advance through the concussion protocol and make it back for Sunday's home date with the Rams.

Week 4 Fantasy Football Impact: Baun Out, Trotter Up?

Even if Baun misses practice the whole week, you can bet the Eagles would start him if cleared to play. So we'll be watching for that into the weekend.

If Baun can't go, Jihaad Campbell would become the best production bet at the position. Jeremiah Trotter Jr. was the only other non-edge LB to play any snaps against the Bears in Week 3. (He played six of them.)

Trotter, though, might be the guy wearing the green-dot helmet if Baun's out and would at least be a good bet for near-full playing time.

Missing Baun would significantly downgrade Philadelphia's mid-range coverage, which already didn't fare great against the Commanders in Week 1 or the Bears last time out.

More Injuries to Watch

Campbell also landed on Wednesday's injury report as limited with a knee issue. DT Jordan Davis (calf) and DL Moro Ojomo (calf, elbow) also carried "limited" designations.

We'll see about the status of all those defenders as the week progresses.

Even a fully healthy Philly D wouldn't make for a good play against the Rams in Week 4, though.
