Kyren Williams Headshot

Rams RB Kyren Williams carried 16 times for 80 yards and a pair of rushing scores in Sunday's win over the Eagles. More surprisingly, he led the team in targets (13) and catches (10), tying for second among Rams with 67 yards. Blake Corum carried five times for just 14 yards (2.8 per rush) and caught one of 2 targets for 7 yards. He saw dramatically less playing time than usual.

Corum's Usage Falls Off

Corum played just 15.5% of the offensive snaps Sunday. That marked a notable decline vs. the first three weeks:

  • 23.0%
  • 45.2%
  • 29.1%

It also would have marked his second-smallest snap share of 2025.

There's been no specific indication that the Rams wanted to shrink Corum's role. This did mark his second straight week of decline in rushing work, though.

He carried 10 and 12 times tthe first two weeks, before carrying six times in Week 3 and five times against the Eagles.

We'll see about his role against the Bills in Week 5.

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Let's See if Williams' Receiving is Trend or Mirage

Meanwhile, Williams' work has headed the opposite direction. His carry totals have increased each week:

  • 11
  • 12
  • 15
  • 16

And he has set season highs for targets and catches in consecutive weeks.

The past two games might remain outliers for his receiving volume. Week 3 found the Rams visiting Denver, which has been tougher at corner than LB, making life more difficult for WRs. L.A. also played that game without WR Puka Nacua and TE Terrance Ferguson.

Ferguson remained out Sunday, but Nacua returned. The Eagles, however, missed MLB Zack Baun (concussion). That significantly alters the strength of their short-range pass coverage.

Next comes a Bills D that hasn't been good at much so far and also sports mediocre LB play.

Williams looks like a good option for that one, and then doesn't face a challenging run D until a Week 9 visit to Washington.
