Jets WR Garrett Wilson managed only 2 catches for 26 yards in Sunday’s matchup with Miami. His three targets matched Isaiah Davis’ total and represented a weak 10% team share.
What They're Saying
HC Aaron Glenn lamented Wilson's lack of targets after Sunday's loss.
"A player of his magnitude, we have to do everything we can to try to get him the ball. Again, I'm going to put that on myself."
2026 Fantasy Football Impact
Wilson’s first target didn’t surface until the third quarter. He caught a shallow crosser vs. soft zone coverage and later extended to make a nice leaping grab on a 19-yard sideline ball.
But that was it, as Wilson’s only other target arrived uncatchable.
Surprisingly, Geno Smith fed 6 targets to TE Mason Taylor, who delivered a pair of TDs. Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis also combined for 10 targets.
Omar Cooper Jr. continued to deliver in his second game back from an ankle injury. He’s now scored and gone over 100 yards in back to back games, helping limit Wilson’s fantasy output.
We’ll see if the Jets’ talk of giving Wilson more work amounts to anything. If there’s a bit of hope, it’s that Smith continues to exceed expectations. He’s up to 7.8 yards per attempt with an 81.6% adjusted completion rate. Both marks would be career highs over a full season.
Wilson is a decent buy-low if you’re looking for WR help, but avoid panic-selling after a couple of down games. He’ll look to rebound in a favorable spot vs. Vegas.
