Colts TE Tyler Warren returned from two games off for a groin injury Sunday against the Jaguars. He managed just 18 yards on 4 catches but logged a team-high 10 targets. That makes three games of 9+ targets among Warren's past four appearances. His 29 routes ranked second among Colts, trailing only WR Josh Downs (34). Downs posted a 4-23-1 receiving line on 5 targets. WR Keenan Allen caught all of his 7 targets for 67 yards.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Good Opportunity, Bad Situation
The role is good, and these Colts should spend plenty of time trailing the rest of the way.
The QB is not good, however.
Daniel Jones completed a solid 67.9% of his passes Sunday but at just 5.1 yards per attempt. That followed four straight games of sub-60% completion rates and marked his second straight game of less than 150 passing yards.
Warren should remain a good bet for target volume and should generally prove more efficient than Sunday's 40% catch rate.
But combine the low-upside passing game with Warren's twice-injured groin -- he originally hurt it during training camp -- and this looks like a guy you should try to sell if possible.
The Colts at least face more favorable defenses in Dallas and Miami the next two weeks. Indy's remaining schedule ranks just 20th for TE scoring, though.
