Rachaad White finished Week 8 as the RB14 pending Monday Night Football after turning a season-high 11 carries into 55 yards and a TD while adding five more yards on 2 receptions. He’s led the Commanders backfield in rush attempts each of the past two weeks with fellow RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt being placed on IR following a groin injury.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Workload Edge, Rams Ahead
White has finished as an RB2 or higher in four of the six games he’s played, while doing so in every game he’s accounted for at least a 50% snap share.
Since Croskey-Merritt was placed on IR, he’s handled 43.8% and 42.3% carry shares. His 42.9% carry share since Week 6 ranks 31st among RBs, but that has still been enough for an RB16 ranking over that span at 14.8 PPR points per game.
That’s due in part to a 1.0 TD per game mark that ranks seventh among RBs, while his 4.6 yards per carry ranks 19th among all RBs with at least 10 rush attempts over that same span.
Fellow RB Austin Ekeler finished with 8 carries for 36 yards while RB Jeremy McNichols handled 5 attempts for 21 yards against the Eagles.
White’s path remains clear to continue handling a team-high workload with Croskey-Merritt not eligible to return until at least Week 11.
But he’ll have a tougher matchup in Week 9 facing a Rams defense that’s reducing RB points by 10.2%.
