The Eagles are benching QB Tanner McKee for QB Joe Milton vs. the Giants this weekend, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. McKee mustered just 5.6 yards per attempt with 2 TDs and 2 INTs against the Panthers, Cowboys, and Commanders over the last three weeks. Sunday will mark Milton's first career start after backing up Drake Maye in 2024 and Dak Prescott last year.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact
Milton might not be good, but he's certainly a more exciting QB than McKee. The 6'5, 236-pounder has shoddy accuracy but a huge arm. And he can run. Milton racked up 403 rushing yards with 7 TDs in his final college season at Tennessee. He averaged 6.4 yards per carry for his college career.
We wouldn't mess with Milton in 1-QB leagues, but the rushing upside puts him in play in superflex leagues and daily tournaments.
Other Winners & Losers
While McKee did not play well over the last three weeks, he at least completed 63% of his passes. Milton completed just 61.5% of his college passes, although he has connected on 69.8% of his 53 NFL attempts.
At minimum, Milton makes Philadelphia's pass catchers more volatile in Week 9 fantasy lineups.
