Bills RB Devin Singletary (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game against the Titans. He was reportedly a game-time decision, so the warmup must not have gone well. Singletary’s absence leaves Buffalo’s backfield to Frank Gore and T.J. Yeldon again.

Bills RB Devin Singletary (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game against the Patriots. Frank Gore gets another game as the clear lead back, with RB T.J. Yeldon spelling him on occasion.

Bills RB Devin Singletary (hamstring) remained sidelined on Wednesday. At this point, we're not expecting him to play against the Patriots this weekend. With the rookie out last week, Frank Gore played 63% of the offensive snaps, carried 14 times and saw 2 targets. T.J. Yeldon registered a 37% snap rate, 8 carries and 3 targets.

Bills RB Devin Singletary (hamstring) remained sidelined on Thursday. The rookie is looking like a long shot to play against the Bengals this weekend. That'd leave Frank Gore as Buffalo's clear lead ball-carrier in a nice matchup. RB T.J. Yeldon figures to play in some passing situations.

The Bills have cut RB LeSean McCoy. Although the team said all offseason that McCoy remained part of their plan, the move doesn't come as a major surprise. Shady is 31, his tank is nearing empty, and his release saves $6.4 million against the cap. We'll see where he latches on. Houston or Tampa Bay would give him a shot at a significant 2019 role. The Bills' RB depth chart is now topped by rookie Devin Singletary, Frank Gore and T.J. Yeldon. Gore out-snapped Singletary 9 to 1 with the starters in Buffalo's 3rd preseason game and might open the season as the leader in this committee. But our money is on Singletary emerging as the starter before long.

The Bills added Florida Atlantic RB Devin Singletary in the 3rd round. The 5’8, 203-pounder disappointed with an ugly 8th percentile SPARQ score at the Combine. But he was a tackle-breaking machine at Florida Atlantic, ranking 3rd in this draft class in Pro Football Focus’ 2018 Elusive Rating. Singletary checks the production box, too, racking up 4,287 yards and 66 TDs on 6.0 yards per carry over the past 3 years. He added another 397 yards on 51 catches. There’s plenty of long-term opportunity for Singletary in a Buffalo backfield with old guys LeSean McCoy and Frank Gore, plus free-agent addition T.J. Yeldon.

The Bills have reached a 2-year deal with RB T.J. Yeldon, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. That puts Yeldon in a backfield with soon-to-be-36 Frank Gore and soon-to-be-31 LeSean McCoy, who is coming off the most inefficient rushing season of his career. Yeldon caught 30+ passes in each of his 4 seasons with the Jaguars, averaging 3.4 per game over his time there. He stands a shot at a decent receiving role there, but it's also a tough situation for touch volume. Yeldon's no more than a late-round flier/handcuff in fantasy football drafts.

Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (ankle, foot) is inactive for today’s finale against the Texans. RB Carlos Hyde (knee) is active and will join T.J. Yeldon and David Williams in the backfield. It's a situation to try to avoid in fantasy lineups. Yeldon is the best bet if you’re desperate.

Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (ankle, foot) is listed as doubtful for Week 17. He didn’t practice on Thursday or Friday and won’t play vs. Houston this weekend. RB Carlos Hyde (knee) is listed as questionable, so Jacksonville might be down to RBs T.J. Yeldon and David Williams. We’ll get the inactives by noon ET on Sunday, but this is a situation to try to avoid against the Texans’ elite run defense.

Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette sat out Thursday's practice with foot and ankle issues after putting in a limited workout Wednesday. He put in full workouts all last week while being listed with the foot and hadn't appeared on the injury report at all since Week 10 before that. Fournette's looking iffy for Sunday's game at Houston -- and at the very least will be a high-risk fantasy option, especially against 1 of the league's toughest run defenses. We'll see about his status after Friday's practice.

Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon is a healthy scratch for today's game against the Dolphins. So it's Leonard Fournette, David Williams and Carlos Hyde in the backfield. Fournette is the only fantasy option and is a risk/reward RB2 after last week's quiet 2nd half.

Jaguars RB Carlos Hyde is inactive for today's game against the Redskins. Expect a heavy dose of RB Leonard Fournette, with RB T.J. Yeldon in his usual change-of-pace role.

Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette's appeal of his 1-game suspension has been denied. He's out for Sunday's game against the Colts. After Fournette was booted from last week's game, Carlos Hyde carried 4 times, while T.J. Yeldon tallied 1 carry and 3 targets. Expect similar usage this weekend, with Hyde leading in carries and Yeldon playing in passing situations.

Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Eagles. He’s tentatively expected back after the Week 9 bye. RB Carlos Hyde will make his Jags debut this weekend and figures to share ball-carrying duties with T.J. Yeldon. Yeldon will continue to dominate pass-catching work, though, and is the better fantasy play.

Jaguars RB Carlos Hyde is inactive for today’s game against the Texans. He didn’t have quite enough time to get settled in after the trade to Jacksonville Friday. T.J. Yeldon will serve as the Jags’ lead back, with Jamaal Charles as the #2.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and James Palmer both hear that Jaguars RB Carlos Hyde might play against the Texans today -- just 2 days after being traded to Jacksonville. Per Palmer, Hyde arrived in Jacksonville around midnight on Friday and participated in Saturday's walkthrough. If he's active, he'd have a "small package of plays." Hyde obviously shouldn't be in Week 7 fantasy lineups. And his presence would be just a small ding to RB T.J. Yeldon's outlook.

The Browns are trading RB Carlos Hyde to Jacksonville in exchange for a mid-round draft pick, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. This doesn't bode well for RB Leonard Fournette's return from his hamstring trouble. Hyde joins T.J. Yeldon in the Jaguars backfield for now, although it's unclear if Hyde will be active for this weekend's game against the Texans. Meanwhile, Nick Chubb takes over as the primary ball-carrier in Cleveland. The rookie has flashed in limited chances, averaging 10.8 yards on 16 carries. He immediately jumps into the RB2 mix.

UPDATE: The Browns are receiving a 5th-round pick.

Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Texans. We’ll see if he can return for Week 8, but Jacksonville might hold him out through the Week 9 bye. T.J. Yeldon gets another game as the Jags’ lead back and is a solid RB2 play, despite a matchup with a tough Houston run defense.

Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon (foot, ankle) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. He's on track to play against the Texans this weekend.
