Brock Purdy suffers stinger
49ers QB Brock Purdy suffered a stinger in the fourth quarter of Monday night's game vs. the Ravens. He's been cleared to return, according to ESPN's Lisa Salters, but Purdy has remained on the sidelines with San Francisco trailing by 14. We'll look for more info on Purdy's status, but it sounds like we should expect him to be available for Week 17's game vs. the Commanders.

Brock Purdy questionable for Week 8
49ers QB Brock Purdy (concussion) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Bengals. He went from no practice on Wednesday to a limited practice on Thursday to full participation on Friday. HC Kyle Shanahan said Friday that Purdy has just one more stage of the concussion protocol to pass through. He now looks likely to play on Sunday. We'll continue to keep you updated on his status.
Brock Purdy returns to limited practice Thursday
49ers QB Brock Purdy (concussion) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. He's made some progress through the protocol and has a chance to be cleared in time for Sunday's game vs. the Bengals. But, as of now, we'd still consider QB Sam Darnold more likely to start that one.
