Darius Slayton Back For Week 12

Giants WR Darius Slayton (hamstring) is not listed on the final Week 12 injury report. He returned to limited practices on Thursday and Friday after sitting out on Wednesday. Slayton carries elevated risk coming off the hamstring, but he should slide back in as an every-down player opposite WR Wan’Dale Robinson.

Darius Slayton Back At Practice Thursday

Giants WR Darius Slayton (hamstring) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. That at least gives him a chance to play vs. the Lions this weekend, but we'll see what Slayton does tomorrow and how he's listed on the final injury report.

Darius Slayton Out For Week 11

Giants WR Darius Slayton (hamstring) won't play vs. the Packers on Sunday, interim HC Mike Kafka said. It's a surprise after Slayton was able to play through this hamstring injury last week. His absence leaves New York with some combination of WRs Ray-Ray McCloud, Gunner Olszewski, Jalin Hyatt, and Isaiah Hodgins behind Wan'Dale Robinson. Robinson and TE Theo Johnson should control targets for New York in this one.

Darius Slayton Leaves With Hamstring Injury

Giants WR Darius Slayton injured a hamstring in the second quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Bears. He's officially questionable to return, but we'd be surprised to see him back out there. Slayton was off to a nice start before going down, catching all three of his targets for 85 yards.

Update: Slayton returned for the start of the second half.

Darius Slayton Back For Week 8

Giants WR Darius Slayton (hamstring) was limited in practice all week but is off the final injury report. He’ll be back for this weekend’s game vs. the Eagles and is the second-best target bet in the WR corps behind Wan’Dale Robinson. But Slayton lands just 51st in the Week 8 WR rankings.

        Darius Slayton Hurts Hamstring

Giants WR Darius Slayton suffered a hamstring injury in the second half of Sunday's game vs. the Saints. He's officially questionable to return, but don't expect to see him back out there. Slayton caught 3 of 6 targets for 31 yards before exiting. His snaps figure to be soaked up by some combination of Jalin Hyatt and Beaux Collins.

Darius Slayton Will Play Week 12

Giants WR Darius Slayton (concussion) put in a full week of practice and is not listed on the final injury report for Sunday’s game vs. the Buccaneers. He’s just a desperation WR4 for now but would upgrade to WR3 status if WR Malik Nabers misses this game with his groin injury.

        Darius Slayton Hurts Thumb

Giants WR Darius Slayton is questionable to return to Sunday's game vs. the Browns with a thumb injury. We'll update his status when we know more. Slayton's absence should mean more snaps for WR Jalin Hyatt.

        Darius Slayton active

Giants WR Darius Slayton (neck) is active for today’s game vs. the Patriots. He was listed as doubtful, but his neck injury improved over the last 24 hours, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo. Slayton is coming off a 4-82-1 line vs. the Commanders but isn’t a great fantasy bet today in a much tougher matchup against New England.

Darius Slayton shines, Wan'Dale Robinson sees major target share

Giants WR Darius Slayton displayed a strong rapport with QB Tyrod Taylor vs. the Bills, racking up a team-leading 69 receiving yards with 4 catches on 6 targets. Fellow wideout Wan’Dale Robinson also turned in a strong performance with 8 catches on as many targets for 62 receiving yards in the contest. Since returning from injury in Week 3, Robinson ranks second on the Giants in targets (20) and leads the team with 18 receptions. These opportunities hadn’t manifested many fantasy points until Sunday, but Robinson is a name to consider adding as a flex option in deeper 14 or 16-team league formats moving forward. Next week, the Giants will face off against the Commanders in an NFC East divisional bout.
