Drake London, Darnell Mooney, Kyle Pitts Questionable, Expected To Play Week 18

Falcons WR Drake London (knee), WR Darnell Mooney (knee), and TE Kyle Pitts (knee) are listed as questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Saints after being limited in practice all week. HC Raheem Morris said Friday that all three guys are expected to play. London has struggled returning from his PCL injury, catching just four balls for 31 yards over the last two weeks. Pitts is a more comfortable fantasy start, although it's possible that this knee issue contributed to his Week 17 dud. We'll get Atlanta's inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.

Drake London "Doubtful" For Week 13

Falcons HC Raheem Morris called WR Drake London (knee) "doubtful" for this weekend's game vs. the Jets. It's not surprising that London will miss multiple games with his PCL injury. He's worth keeping stashed in all fantasy leagues but should be on benches for Week 13. WR Darnell Mooney, TE Kyle Pitts, and RB Bjian Robinson will be the best target bets for the Falcons in New York on Sunday.

Drake London Officially Out For Week 12

Falcons HC Raheem Morris confirmed on Wednesday that WR Drake London (knee) will not play vs. the Saints this weekend. Morris added that he's "hopeful" London will be back for Week 13. Consider it a win if London misses just one game with his PCL injury. We'll keep you updated on his status next week. London's absence leaves WR Darnell Mooney and TE Kyle Pitts as the top two targets in Atlanta's passing game (with RB Bijan Robinson in that mix, too). Neither Mooney nor Pitts is an exciting fantasy play with QB Kirk Cousins under center, although Pitts did catch all nine of his targets for 59 yards with Cousins back in Week 8.

Darnell Mooney Plays Season-High In Snaps

Drake London had over 100 receiving yards in the first half of Atlanta's Week 11 loss to Carolina. But London exited in the fourth quarter with a knee injury. If London misses time, Darnell Mooney would be in a position to be the Falcons' No. 1 WR. On Sunday, Mooney played a season-high 61 snaps (92.4%) and drew 7 targets, but again made little impact on the game.

Darnell Mooney Leaves With Rib Injury

Falcons WR Darnell Mooney is questionable to return to Sunday's game vs. the Panthers with a rib injury. He caught three of four targets for 34 yards before exiting in the second quarter. We'll update Mooney's status when we know more.

Update: Mooney returned in the second half.

        Darnell Mooney "Limited" Wednesday

Falcons WR Darnell Mooney (hamstring) was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday's injury report. Atlanta didn't actually practice on Wednesday, coming off the Monday night win over the Bills. Mooney seemingly has a chance to return for this Sunday night's game vs. the 49ers, but he'd be tough to trust in fantasy lineups coming off the hamstring injury.

Darnell Mooney Still Sidelined On Thursday

Falcons WR Darnell Mooney (hamstring) did not practice on Thursday. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said on October 29 that Mooney "likely" wouldn't miss any games with this injury. But the fact that he's still not able to practice coming off the bye week is a concern. We'll keep you updated on Mooney's status, but fantasy owners shouldn't be counting on him in Week 6 lineups.

Darnell Mooney Should Be Ready After Week 5 Bye

Falcons WR Darnell Mooney "likely" won't miss any games with the hamstring injury he suffered in Sunday's win over the Commanders, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Atlanta has a well-timed Week 5 bye, and it sounds like Mooney's injury is minor enough that he should be ready for Week 6. He's gotten off to a slow start after missing all of August with a shoulder injury, but Mooney remains a full-time player in this offense when healthy. He's worth keeping stashed in fantasy leagues of 12+ teams.

Darnell Mooney Leaves With Hamstring Injury

Falcons WR Darnell Mooney is questionable to return to Sunday's game vs. the Commanders with a hamstring injury. He caught his only target for 15 yards before exiting. We'll update Mooney's status when we know more.

Update: Mooney has been ruled out.

Drake London & Darnell Mooney Will Play Week 2

Falcons WRs Drake London (shoulder) and Darnell Mooney (shoulder) are off the final Week 2 injury report. Both guys practiced all week, including full workouts on Friday. London carries a bit more risk in Sunday night’s game vs. the Vikings, but he’d be impossible to leave out of fantasy lineups after drawing 15 targets in the opener. We’d try to keep Mooney on fantasy benches in his 2025 debut. The availability of both WRs dings TE Kyle Pitts’ Week 2 outlook.

Will Darnell Mooney Play Week 1?

Falcons HC Raheem Morris labeled WR Darnell Mooney (shoulder) "day to day" on Monday. Mooney went down with a shoulder injury in late July but returned to practice on August 28 and participated in Monday's jogthrough. "I feel good about where he’s at," Morris said. "We’ll see towards the end of the week."
