Bears WR Darnell Mooney (knee) got in a full practice on Friday and isn’t listed on the final injury report. He should be ready for his usual role vs. the Chiefs this weekend. Chicago’s passing volume figures to be elevated in that one, but Mooney remains a desperation fantasy play.

Bears WR Darnell Mooney told reporters on Monday that he exited the Week 2 loss with a knee bruise. The injury originally occurred in Week 1 and was aggravated in Tampa Bay when he twice banged knees with Bucs DBs. “I’ll be good," Mooney added. It sounds like he has a chance to be ready for this weekend's game vs. the Chiefs, but Mooney is a shaky fantasy bet in a struggling Bears offense.

Bears WR Darnell Mooney suffered a knee injury in the second half of Sunday's game vs. the Bucs and is questionable to return. We'll pass along an update when we get one.

Bears WR Darnell Mooney (ankle) is expected to be ready for the start of training camp. "Darnell is working is butt off and he's right on track," HC Matt Eberflus said Wednesday. Mooney suffered a season-ending left ankle injury last November and has been sidelined for the offseason program so far. Barring a setback, it sounds like he'll be back to 100% before the start of the season. His fantasy value took a big hit when Chicago acquired WR D.J. Moore, but Mooney could still provide some spike-week value in best-ball leagues.

Bears WR Darnell Mooney is sidelined for OTAs this week. He's still working back from the left ankle injury he suffered last November. HC Matt Eberflus said Mooney is "progressing" but didn't provide any other details. We'll see when Mooney is able to get back on the field. But he's not an intriguing fantasy pick in a run-heavy Bears offense that added WR D.J. Moore this offseason.

Bears HC Matt Eberflus confirmed on Monday that WR Darnell Mooney will miss the rest of the 2022 season with the left ankle injury he suffered in Sunday's loss to the Jets. We'll look for further details on Mooney's timetable to return, but he should at least be ready for 2023 training camp. Mooney finishes his 3rd NFL season with a 40-493-2 line on 61 targets. He's stretched as a #1 WR but can certainly be a quality #2 for the rebuilding Bears.

Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reports that Bears QB Trevor Siemian took a pain-killing injection for his oblique injury and might still start vs. the Jets today. Both Siemian and QB Nathan Peterman took some 1st-team reps in final warmups. You should obviously be staying far away from this situation in fantasy lineups.

Bears QB Trevor Siemian suffered an oblique injury in pregame warmups, so QB Nathan Peterman will now get the start vs. the Jets. Siemian wasn't a great option, but Peterman is even worse. He's somehow managed to toss 12 INTs on 135 career pass attempts. You should try to avoid Chicago's passing game in Week 12 fantasy lineups. The Jets defense is an elite play.

Bears WR Darnell Mooney (groin) is questionable for Monday night's game against the Steelers. Mooney popped up on the injury report Friday, participating on a limited basis the final 2 days. We'll see about his status Monday evening. Mooney won't be worth waiting for in most fantasy football lineups.
