Jaire Alexander Injury Updates | Shark Bites

Packers lead CB Jaire Alexander left Thursday night's game against San Francisco with a concussion. Losing Alexander didn't matter against a depleted 49ers offense, but we'll see how much longer he remains out. ILB Krys Barnes also left the game early with a calf injury and did not return. We'll see whether Christian Kirksey can get back into the mix for Week 10. Kirksey has been out since Week 3 with a shoulder injury.

Packers DT Kenny Clark is inactive for tonight's game against the Falcons. He's been out since suffering a groin injury in Week 1. CB Jaire Alexander and OLB Za'Darius Smith are active and available for IDP lineups.

Packers CB Jaire Alexander (hand, knee) popped up on the injury report Saturday as questionable for Monday night's game against the Falcons. He missed practice Saturday after practicing in full Thursday and Friday. Don't wait for him Monday night unless you have a replacement from the same game. DT Kenny Clark (groin) and OLB Za'Darius Smith (ankle) are questionable for the game. Each put in limited practices all week. Clark has been out since suffering his injury in Week 1 and doesn't make for a great IDP bet. Smith is worth waiting for if you were planning to start him and have insurance available. Falcons LB Foye Oluokun looks like a potential replacement option.

Packers CB Jaire Alexander is inactive for today's game against the Lions. It's no surprise after his groin injury kept him out of practice all week, but Alexander hit the day questionable.

Packers CB Jaire Alexander left Sunday's win over the Jets in the 1st half with a groin injury and did not return. He previously missed a pair of October games with an injury to the same area. Alexander won't be worth the risk in Week 17 for most IDP owners even if he's active.

Packers CB Jaire Alexander (groin) is inactive for today's game against the Lions. S Kentrell Brice is active after entering the day questionable with an ankle injury. Neither is much of an IDP candidate.

After moving down from 14th, the Packers jumped back up to the 18th pick in the NFL Draft to select Louisville CB Jaire Alexander. The former Cardinal played just 6 games last season while dealing with multiple injuries. The year before, however, he grabbed 5 INTs. Alexander also served as a primary and productive punt returner over his 1st 2 seasons. There's big-play upside here.
