The Titans have placed rookie CB Caleb Farley on the non-football injury list and OLB Bud Dupree on the PUP list to begin training camp. Dupree is still working back from the early December right ACL tear that ended his 2020 season. Farley has had 2 back surgeries since his last action at Virginia Tech in 2019. Both players figure to be important pieces for a Tennessee defense that needs to improve on last year's performance. We'll see how they progress through the summer.
The Titans have ruled CB Kristian Fulton (hamstring) and S Amani Hooker (concussion) out for Sunday's game against the Chargers. That leaves an already weak pass defense without two of its top 4 DBs. Should be a good week for the Chargers' passing game to get going.
Titans EDGE Bud Dupree (hip), DL Jeffery Simmons (ankle), LB Zach Cunningham (elbow), S Amani Hooker (shoulder) and CB Kristian Fulton (hamstring) missed Thursday's practice. Simmons has played the past 2 weeks despite missing both practice weeks. His playing time increased last game vs. the 1 before. We'll see about the whole group Friday.
Titans S Amani Hooker (concussion), EDGE Bud Dupree (hip) and LB Zach Cunningham (elbow) are out for Sunday's game against the Commanders.
The Titans defense practiced without 3 starters Thursday. S Amani Hooker (concussion) sat out, just a day after putting in a limited workout. That seems to indicate he's not likely to play Sunday against the Commanders. EDGE Bud Dupree (hip) and LB Zach Cunningham (elbow) each missed a 2nd straight practice. These absences would only soften a defense that doesn't present a scary matchup at full strength.
The Titans have ruled EDGE Bud Dupree (hip) out for Sunday's game against the Raiders. LB Zach Cunningham is questionable with a knee injury he suffered Thursday. That kept him off the field Friday. Neither should have factored significantly into your IDP plans. We'll check Cunningham's status Sunday.
