Seahawks Bring In Blocking TE Robbie Ouzts

The Seahawks drafted Alabama TE Robbie Ouzts with the 175th pick of Round 5. Ouzts was invited to the Combine, but he profiles as a blocking TE first and foremost at Alabama. He was drafted over fellow TE and teammate CJ Dippre. At 274 pounds, he was the heaviest TE at the Combine and essentially adds another OT on the outside. Outzts 2.3% target share ranked dead last among NFL Combine TEs, proving his lack of receiving upside. He did have 25% of the TD Target Share for Alabama in 2024, so there could be a bit of red zone ability at the very least.

        2025 Fantasy Football Impact

Ouzts is ultimately a pass for any type of fantasy league.

Think of him more as an extension of the OL instead of an actual TE for fantasy purposes.

The only shot Ouzts may have to provide fantasy upside is catching TDs in the red zone.

Being behind TE Dalton Kincaid and TE Dawson Knox likely means that won't happen often.

        Dynasty Impact

Ouzts doesn't offer any dynasty upside.

You are better off drafting a UDFA TE in rookie drafts who profiles more as a pass catcher on the off-chance they get the chance.

Maybe Ouzts pops back up down the line with injuries in front of him, but don't bet on it.
