Gladstone also said that Hunter has been practicing more on offense than defense so far because he needs more time to get comfortable in the offensive system.

“I do think there’s a little bit of a misconception, in that it’s wide receiver first, corner second, as much as it is the learning methodology of wide receiver through this phase, and then continuing to trickle in more defense, since that is his primary background.”

This could be a nightmare for fantasy players, particularly in lineup-setting leagues. It's one thing if we know that Hunter's snaps on offense will be limited because he's also playing defense. It's a completely different problem if his offensive snap rate will vary from game to game.

We'll continue to keep a close eye on Jacksonville's plans for Hunter this summer and throughout the season. He's an OK pick at his current WR26 best-ball ADP but is shaping up as a fade in lineup-setting fantasy leagues.
