        Jayden Reed Has Broken Collarbone

Packers WR Jayden Reed broke his collarbone in Thursday night's win over the Commanders, HC Matt LaFleur said. The "hope" is that Reed will be back in 6-8 weeks, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

        2025 Fantasy Football Impact

Reed, a fringe WR3/4 when healthy, is droppable outside of fantasy leagues with deep benches or multiple IR spots. He should at least be a full-go once he's cleared to return, so Reed could still be a fantasy factor over the second half of the season.

His absence figures to mean a boost in playing time for all the Packers WRs. Here's how the routes shook out vs. Washington, with Reed exiting less than four minutes into the game:

        • Romeo Doubs: 77%
        • Matthew Golden: 68%
        • Dontayvion Wicks: 65%
        • Malik Heath: 21%
        • Savion Williams: 12%

Doubs remains the best bet to lead the group in playing time for now, but he's never been a high-end target earner. Consider him a WR4 going forward.

Golden went catch-less vs. the Commanders. But the 68% route rate was up from 57% in the opener. He also just missed two big plays in Week 2: A ball thrown slightly late and behind him that could have gone for a 33-yard TD, and a overthrown pass when Golden had a couple of steps on his defender deep down the middle of the field.

We'll need to see Golden's playing time grow a bit more before trusting him in fantasy lineups. But he's a strong stash -- and a potential buy-low this week.

Wicks should hover between a 65-80% route rate as long as Reed is out. He's drawn targets at a high clip throughout his career and looked good against Washington, catching four of six targets for 44 yards. He's worth adding in fantasy leagues of 12+ teams.
