It was WR Ryan Flournoy -- not WR George Pickens -- who stepped up for the Cowboys with WR CeeDee Lamb out for most of the second half of Thursday night's game vs. the Lions with a concussion. Flournoy hit halftime with two catches for five yards. He racked up another seven grabs for 110 yards and a score over the game's final 30 minutes. Flournoy's 42-yard TD in the fourth quarter came on a coverage bust in Detroit's secondary. But he also ran some crisp routes and made multiple tough grabs in traffic. Flournoy's 13 targets led the Cowboys and were a big 27.7% of the team total.

This wasn't the first time Flournoy popped for a big game this season. He tallied 114 yards on six catches and nine targets vs. the Jets back in Week 15 -- in a game that WR CeeDee Lamb missed with an ankle injury.
Lamb missed two other games with that injury, but Flournoy mustered just 2-14-0 and 3-30-0 lines in those. So he's certainly not a lock to produce sans Lamb.
Lamb will also have 10 days to clear concussion protocol ahead of the Week 15 Sunday nighter vs. the Vikings. He's more likely than not play in that one.
So Flournoy won't be a priority add off waiver wires this week. But he's a fine speculative stash if you have a bench spot to play with. He'll likely check in as a WR4 in the Week 15 rankings if Lamb does not play.
