Bills QB Josh Allen underwent surgery earlier this week to repair a broken fifth metatarsal in his right foot, he said Thursday. GM Brandon Beane said earlier this month that Allen might need a procedure on the foot that he injured in the Week 16 win over the Browns. Allen explained Thursday that it was an older injury that was re-aggravated against Cleveland. He downplayed the issue, calling it "a little painful" but not a major surgery. "I'm not even lying — if we had to play a game this week, I would find a way to play," he added. A more realistic Ian Rapoport hears that Allen is expected to be sidelined for 8-10 weeks. We'll track his rehab this offseason but aren't expecting this to impact Allen's 2026 campaign. He's started 127 straight regular-season games (and 140 straight, including playoffs).
