The Tennessee Titans selected Penn State RB Nicholas Singleton in Round 5 of the 2026 NFL Draft. Singleton brings rare straight-line speed for his size and a slashing style. He’s also one of the top pass-catching backs. Penn State never unleashed him as a true workhorse, but he did play alongside four-star recruit Kaytron Allen. The duo split carries near-evenly across 2022-23 before Allen led 15.3 to 10.9 over the past two seasons. That’s concerning for Singleton’s usage projection. Among the 20 RBs invited to the NFL Combine, Singleton ranked 18th in 2025 rushing market share (25.8%), and in yards after contact per attempt (2.69). He ranked 19th in 2025 missed tackles forced per attempt (0.15) and fifth in receiving yards per route run (1.52). He is currently 22 years old.
What They're Saying
Draft Sharks Rookie Guide: “Singleton struggles with his vision on tape. And he’s not the most creative runner when space condenses. But his rare athleticism and receiving ability give him a shot at sustainable dynasty value.”
2026 Fantasy Football Impact
The Titans had some interest in RB Jeremiyah Love, but they did not have the opportunity to draft him. With veterans Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears on the roster, Singleton will likely come in as a developmental third RB on the depth chart.
He may not have redraft value, but there is an opening for Singleton on the team beyond this season.
Dynasty Impact
The Titans were looking at the RB position in the draft due to the contract situation of their current group.
Both Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears are set to hit free agency after this season. That could give Singleton the opportunity to win the starting job in 2027.
Though the draft capital is less than ideal, Singleton is still worth drafting in rookie drafts.
If he remains available into the third round of rookie drafts, Singleton could be worth the upside chance. His athleticism and receiving ability certainly makes him intriguing in PPR leagues.
Stashing Singleton into 2027 could pay off.
