Trevor Lawrence Headshot

Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence is feeling comfortable heading into his second season in HC Liam Coen's offense. He spent last offseason recovering from shoulder surgery and learning a brand new system. This offseason he's been able to hone in on the details and build more chemistry with his pass-catching corps.

What They're Saying

Lawrence on his growth this offseason: "A lot more confident in my progressions and what I know about the system so when I get on the grass it's a lot less thinking. The biggest thing is I can react, play faster, can work on some different things of my game because the focus isn't as much on what to do and what's the playcall and what are all the adjustments. I know all that stuff and still study that and work on it because it's easy to forget little details, but as far as being able to work on more detailed things with the receivers and the communication ... we're a lot further ahead this year."

Coen on Lawrence: "He's got a very calm mind. He's able to just call a play, see it, visualize it, and then go and just play. Just go play. You're not thinking about your footwork. We're still coaching it, absolutely, but he's got such a grasp for it that you're hopeful that it allows him to just go be him and go be the best version of himself as we saw so much towards the back half of the last year and taking growth from that."

2026 Fantasy Football Impact

We saw Lawrence take off in Coen's offense over the second half of last season. Check out the splits between the first seven and final 10 games:

First 7 Games Final 10 Games
Completion Rate 58.7% 62.8%
Yards Per Attempt 6.3 7.9
Yards Per Game231.4238.7
TDs Per Game 1.3 2.0
Fantasy Points Per Game17.023.5

Now he's back in the same system with the same deep pass-catching corps, headlined by Parker Washington, Brian Thomas Jr., Jakobi Meyers, and Brenton Strange. Anything Travis Hunter adds feels like a bonus.

Lawrence is a strong bet for QB1 production this season with upside into the top 6. He's a nice value at his QB10 ADP.
